from day to day

The day-to-day program below is a suggestion and may change. This means that all activities are covered, but possibly in a different order.

Day 1: Arrival

After 14.00 it is possible to check in at the campsite and at Björnbyn. In the evening we all get together in the restaurant of the campsite to get to know each other and follow a short explanation about how the week will look like.

Day 2: Shooting clinic and outdoor cooking

We will immediately start active and especially tough with an extensive shooting clinic. In the evening we prepare a delicious meal together over a campfire in the open air.

Day 3: Cross country skiing and ice skating

Discover how much fun it is to go cross-country skiing. If the weather conditions allow it, you will find several cross-country trails near Råda and Hagfors, and you can also go into the forest and draw your own cross-country trails. If there is not enough snow in the immediate vicinity, we just take you to the snow. In addition, we also go ice skating, which we do in Sweden on natural ice of course. If the ice is thick enough, we even get to skate on our 'own' Rådasjön.

Day 4: Ice fishing

Drill a hole and cast out your rod, today we're going ice fishing. A favorite pastime in Värmland, which, with a little luck, ends with roasting a home-caught fish over the campfire.

Day 5: Snowshoe hiking

Walking without staying on the passable paths, that is possible on snowshoes. Today we will enter the snowy landscape on snowshoes.  Explore the Swedish forests.

Day 6: Rest day

A nice day to relax after all the sporting activities of previous days. Still energy left and no need to sit still? Then today there is room to go skiing at Brånas, go on a snowmobile trip or experience the beautiful Swedish nature from a horseback.

Day 7: Husky sleigh ride and winter BBQ

Today we travel a little further, so we can go on a sled dog ride in the beautiful Transtrandsfjällens Nature Reserve. A unique experience in a breathtaking landscape, with of course the space to really get to know and cuddle the beautiful dogs that work for us.  And what could be a better culinary end to a winter week than a fully catered winter BBQ?

Day 8: Departure

Unfortunately, today is the last day of this week and it is time to go home again.

Check out is possible until 11 am.
